Black DouglasBlack Douglas was a famous Scottish Knight and trusted friend of Robert the Bruce. The Bruce and Black Douglas first met only a few miles from the site of Broughton Ales in the Scottish Borders. We like to think that the dark ruby colour and the full bodied malt flavour of this ale reflect the power and strength of this great Knight. |
