Bottle Filling
The beer is run from the BBT to the header tank on the filling machine through at least two back up filters which ensure no particles can find their way into the bottle.
The bottles are conveyed to the filler via a rinsing process which involves jetting sterile water into the inverted bottle and allowing it to drain before running through an electronic bottle inspector which will detect and reject any bottle which is cracked, chipped, contains any residual liquid or foreign body.

Once located on the filling head the bottles are evacuated and counter pressured with nitrogen twice to ensure all air is eliminated. The beer is then allowed fill into the bottle against a back pressure to ensure a steady quiet fill, after which the bottle is immediately sealed with a crown cork.
Filled bottles are then conveyed to the pasteurizer via two electronic inspectors. The first ensures that each bottle has a crown cork in place and the second measures the fill level rejecting bottle with a low fill.
