This exciting lager is brewed to the exacting standards required by Soil Association Certification Ltd. of the United Kingdom. The lager malt is prepared from Organically grown barley. The hops are grown in New Zealand and England using natural methods to control hop pests an diseases. The pure water comes from the rolling Scottish Border hills. To complete the process a specially selected lager yeast is used and fermentation is carried out at the low temperature of 11°C for a full 14 days. The end result is a premium beer with all the delicate flavours and aromas associated with a Pilsner type lager. A refreshing clean tasting beer with an excellent aroma and aftertaste. At 5.0% ABV a premium lager to stand alongside the famous lagers of the world. This lager has won several awards. The most recent is a diploma in the 2004 BBI competition.
